August 26
Ongoing – Early arrivals in Bergen; no events planned
August 27 – Day One
10:30 am – Charter bus will pick up attendees staying at various hotels and transport to Skolten South dock to board the National Geographic Explorer.
NOTE: Please make sure to get a cruise luggage tag from Kavita or Brendan prior to putting your luggage on the bus. You must have this tag before leaving the bus and boarding the cruise since the luggage will be put on the cruise by porters who need the tag to ID your luggage.
12:00 pm – Board National Geographic Explorer ship
12:30 pm – Welcome Lunch
1:30 pm – Introductory 1 minute talks with a break to watch the cruise set sail at 2:15 pm
3:30 pm – Opening Panel (Sean Carroll, Richard Lenski, Steven Savitt, Philip C. E. Stamp, Kathleen McDermott)
6:00 pm – Welcome Reception

August 28 – Day Two
