Essay Abstract

In our search for a fundamental basis to address the insurmountable paradigm shifts occurring in two major disciplines, particle physics and cognitive neuroscience, we propounded a “universal field of quantum-consciousness as covariant with the spacetime, on par with gravitation, pervaded by string-like novel signals, nourons, capable of instantaneous communication. Based on theoretical role of nourons in explaining the mystery of ‘instantaneous nonlocal correlation between a pair of entangled photons” in quantum mechanics, and in solving the perennial mystery of how a physical brain engenders meaning in a conscious experience and how meaning is represented, nourons were tested in their capability to transduce particle-like photons into corresponding wave-like photons, causing the interference pattern in double-slit experiment, under both presence and absence of nourons. Preliminary experimental results are encouraging to regard nourons on the universal field of quantum-consciousness as fundamental.

Author Bio

Sirajul Husain, an interdisciplinary scientist, has discovered a fundamental nexus between Quantum physics and Cognitive Neuroscience through a fundamental Universal Field of Quantum- Consciousness, posited as covariant with the spacetime, on par with the field of gravitation, and pervaded by quantum-conscious signals, nourons, capable of instantaneous correlation between a pair of nonlocal entangled photons. He received John Templeton award on his research on, “Science of Religion” (1997) and a grant for “Integrating Spirituality in Medicine”, (2000).

Dear Kamal Rajpal,

I appreciate for sharing your research, which is very interesting. In particular, you raised an interesting point that creation of single photon emission is rather idealistic.

In our preliminary study on nourons, using a novel design, we find that a beam of photons is not crucial. In our future studies with more refined design of experimental set up, we will take a note of it. Thanks!

All the best,

Husain

Sirajul,

Your essay provided novel and interesting ideas and was very nicely written. I see it's sitting very low with few scores which is a shame and undeserved I think.

I certainly agreed with some of your suggestions, in particular;

" our explanation of a single photon passing through both slits is, the photons are turned into waves ... and pass through both the slits to cause interference pattern" as the so called 'quantum eraser' anlaysis in the figure in my own essay. And also;

..there is no action involved by the photons “at-a-distance”, Though I identify and describe a classical mechanism which can remove the 'weird' statistical findings.

Your introduction of 'Nourons' was original and interesting though the derivation and description not thorough. None the less an original and well written essay. People may disagree with content but that's no grounds to mark down. I think it worth a higher place and score which I have it pencilled in for.

Mine is ratgher different but I do hope you get to read and enjoy it.

Best

Dear Peter Jackson,

I admire and enjoyed your essay immensely. Only a scientist with deeper intellectual insights like you could appreciate a modest approach to resolve the two age-old mysteries in science, by a single stroke, that is, nouron.

Although some preliminary (using home-spun design) tests to study the capability of nourons to alter the particle-to-wave state of photons are promising, I did not include them in my essay, because it is too early. Nevertheless, we are planning to extend the experiment using more sophisticated design.

I totally agree with you that fundamental is a relative concept. For example, when I claim that if nouron are experimentally proved, they and the nousons (their transduced state in the neurobiology of brain) may be deemed ‘fundamental’, in their role to resolve the impasse in quantum-mechanics and cognitive neuroscience.

Besides, you may notice that quantization of consciousness, as quantum-consciousness, seems to lead to quantization of both gravity and spacetime, in particular, in the event of collapse, in the nonlocal flight of entangled photons in opposite directions.

You may like to read my paper on Consciousness, published before nourons were tested experimentally.

Would you like to share your email for attaching the above article.

With kind regards

Dear Dr. Satyavarapu Naga Parameswara Gupta,

Thank you for reviewing my essay on Universal Field of Quantum-Consciousness.

I appreciate for sharing your essay, which in my view is profoundly intricate, and as such demands some deeper study on my part.

Your novely of ideas demands attention and time. I am setting out on an academic journey to India, especially, NIMHANS, for presenting my research and its application in psychotherapy, based on preliminary promising results on nourons's capability to alter particle-wave state of photons.

I may have more time to concentrate on your essay in India.

all the best,

So you have nothing to lose by having me read your essay, and everything to...
