I enjoyed your cryptic writing style. It is almost like an abstract painting using words.

If you have not already done so, you should read the essay by Jarmo Matti Makela. He describes a model of the Big Bang that is almost identical to what you present.

Please excuse me for I have no intention of disparaging in any way any part of your essay.

I merely wish to point out that “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.” Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955) Physicist & Nobel Laureate.

Only nature could produce a reality so simple, a single cell amoeba could deal with it.

The real Universe must consist only of one unified visible infinite physical surface occurring in one infinite dimension, that am always illuminated by infinite non-surface light.

A more detailed explanation of natural reality can be found in my essay, SCORE ONE FOR SIMPLICITY. I do hope that you will read my essay and perhaps comment on its merit.

The idea of the Life origin like a Big Bang was a thought before the FQXi

essay contest, and it seem plausible.

So I start to think to use the different statistic of the Big Bang particles,

and gauge boson, so that the ordered structure of the particles of the Universe (and the life structure from disorder of the infrared energy boson) could be

obtained from the higher disorder of the interaction bosons (using for example

the statistic of the virtual particles like a disorder generator compensated by

molecules order); to solve this problem should be necessary to study the Feynmann diagrams of the particles, and to obtain a statistic of the two type of particles (virtual particles propagator and particles) to obtain the ordering of the particles.

It seemed plausible, but I had thought that the equipartition theorem

for the two statistics don't change nothing: the same entropy, unless small fluctuations, for the two statistic, so that (I suppose) the order cannot be

obtained from the disorder of the gauge bosons; only a dead end.

Another possibility is to use a phase transition to obtain the order: if a system have a temperature reduction until a phase transition for the Big Bang and the Life origin from an initial point (where there is the entropy generation) then there is a shell, where there is a transition between different phases; I think that the shell contain a highly unstable state of the matter (little fluctuations give great variations of the measurable physical quantity), so that this shell contain a macrostate that change with different initial condition (chaotic system), and it is possible to obtain condensation points and melting points, so that the fluctuations explore the quantum state with different energies; it could work like a quantum annealing for the system, with different energies that could be explored with the entropy flow of the energy.

If all the system can be described using the entropy (in particular the phase transition), then each system can give order using only an information flow (computer science, thermodynamic, cosmology); I think that Life origin and Life, cosmology and computer science have a common theory, and experimental tests could be made with software simulating, or being, the entropy flow.

The idea is simple, the cooling of a system (in an entropy meaning), lead to ordering of the system; the cooling phase happen through a phase transition, where there are some ordered clusters, that can be searched for local minimum using the local fluctuations of entropies (and temperatures); so that the phase transition is a rich phase, of many different minimum, and the galaxies, and life forms, could be the measurable effects of these fluctuations.

I think to make a writing experiment inspired by the break of the fourth wall (in this case the break of the article structure for a article-blog structure), like Deadpool or Pirandello; it is funny to destroy the usual method of research transfer, using an artistic point of view to transfer fragments of ideas.

It is funny that the article try to wander to the solution, like the Big Bang wander to the Universe, like the chemical reaction wander to the Life, like the essays wander to the goal.

In summary I think that the process is similar to the crystallization, or the fog formation in the cloud chamber.

I am thinking that if a phase transition is defined like a point where there is not a spatial scale invariance of the entropy density, then the phase transition have a universal definition: this happen in a system where there is an homogeneous system that changes in a small scale, with cluster of a phase that coexists with other cluster of phases (that could happen in parallel computing, thermodynamics, superconductivity, cosmology, biology, etc.).

I am thinking that if there not a scale invariance, then the propagation of some perturbations switches from transparency to translucence, and this can be a measure of phase change: for some frequencies the waves undergoes a diffraction because of the different refractive indexes; so that the presence of translucence could be the marker of a random search (that reminds me so much the evolution) of minimuma using quantum annealing, and the Lives, and the Galaxies could be the minima in a translucence mean.

If the Life and the Big Bang have the same processes, then it is possible that some Big Bang phases could be defined like Life: the shell of translucent phase in the Life creation and in the Big Bang could be defined like Life, Life in the most elementary state; it is only an half of heat engine cycle crossing a translucent phase. Life begets life (a blow, a ow of energy in an critical phase), so that could be life the hydrothermal vents, the Universe after the Big Bang, the virus in a cell, an instable parallel program, an instable search engine, and so on.

Very good. I do agree with much of your approach. Altho, I fear that when I explain, it may seem that I am opposed to your ideas. In this FQXI essay contest I avoid my “pet topic” even while this pet understanding of how order forms the uniform universal vacuum and disorder gives us the chaotic cosmos that is our existence. My essay for the first FQXI contest on (THE NATURE OF TIME) tells more of how a phase state of the Vacuum is locked at the background temperature of the Vacuum

I read all the essays of this contest, and I voted for those who deserve at least the sufficiency; and I must say that the I had trouble reading just two essay, yours and that of Sarfatti; the reason is that I search a direct response, although obscure and complex. But I must say that there were many beautiful ideas , and it is interesting that many renowned researcher (with different theoretical point of view) took part in this contest.

It then makes more sense as I feel I have wandered through a rather puzzling landscape of ideas. Then, immediately followed by arriving at the simple crystallization/fog analogy summary. Thank you Georgina, for reading my essay; It is a pity that I was not clear enough.

In short words: I think that the Big Bang phase, and the life generation could be similar phases (order in the galaxies and order in the life form).

I try to elaborate a new definition of phase transition to describe the similar processes, and this is the original contribution that I think that was important (for me).

I always thought that the simplest example of a goal is life, obtainable from a random search of quantum states: so that the theme is observed, but not explained

I tried to do a work of art,
