If you are aware of an interesting new academic paper (that has been published in a peer-reviewed journal or has appeared on the arXiv), a conference talk (at an official professional scientific meeting), an external blog post (by a professional scientist) or a news item (in the mainstream news media), which you think might make an interesting topic for an FQXi blog post, then please contact us at forums@fqxi.org with a link to the original source and a sentence about why you think that the work is worthy of discussion. Please note that we receive many such suggestions and while we endeavour to respond to them, we may not be able to reply to all suggestions.

Please also note that we do not accept unsolicited posts and we cannot review, or open new threads for, unsolicited articles or papers. Requests to review or post such materials will not be answered. If you have your own novel physics theory or model, which you would like to post for further discussion among then FQXi community, then please add them directly to the "Alternative Models of Reality" thread, or to the "Alternative Models of Cosmology" thread. Thank you.

Essay Abstract

We discuss the concept of time in present physical theories, and we speculate about its possible replacement by a more fundamental concept in the realm of subatomic physics.

Your assay has shown the critical points of the hypothesis.

Here we would like to give the counterarguments.

1.Problems of the time thermodynamic time arrow.

After stable equilibrium of the closed system has been achieved, its quantum processes do not stop, but their directivity can be reoriented. We can assume that a peculiar matching of the conformal space – time takes...

Dear Dr. Hofmann,

Nice and brief presentation of the problem of time in Physics. I find interesting your idea of a replacement of time variable at the microscopic level, especially for Quantum Mechanics.

With my best wishes,

Dear Dr. Hofman

According to my research entropy increases in atemporal space, arrow of time is a math model only, into universe entropy encreasing has no direction it runs in atemporal space that humans experience as NOW.

"Time" just means that matter is energized and - therefore - moving itself.

In other words, in moving, a corpse or particle occupies at "present" a different spatial position than "before", regarding to any external reference taken.

To the inside of an specific "system", if nothing moves, no "time" is elapsed.

(Apparently, every bit of matter is constantly energized (moving), so "time" is elapsed and occurs all around.)
