Spring 2007

In the Fall 2007 Mini-Grant Round, FQXi received 24 Applications from its 95 Members (at the time), totaling over US$180K. Sixty percent of the applications requested US$6K or less. Funds were solicited for workshops, travel, and small research projects. 18 Winners, totaling just over US$100K, with an average award of about US$5750, were selected by the lottery process described here. The deadline for this round was October 15, Winners were notified on November 13, and the majority of payments were released in three months or less.
