Dear Jim,
Is it fantasy? It is not in what is written, it lies inside of us, if you see it feasible then it is but if you do not see it then it is not ( "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't--you're right." ― Henry Ford).
Remember this:
As men approach Me, so I receive them. All paths, Arjuna, lead to Me. (Hinduism. Bhagavad Gita 4.11)
Confucius said... "In the world there are many different roads but the destination is the same. There are a hundred deliberations but the result is one."
(Confucianism. I Ching, Appended Remarks 2.5)
At any time, in any form and accepted name, if one is shorn of all attachment, that one is you alone. My Lord! You are one although variously appearing.
(Jainism. Hemachandra, Dvatrimshika 29)
They have called him Indra, Mitra, Varuna, Agni, and the divine fine-winged Garuda; They speak of Indra, Yama, Matrarisvan: the One Being sages call by many names. (Hinduism. Rig Veda 1.164.46).
You are right the current situation is challenging but human resilience capability, neuroplasticity, epigenetics and the high adaptable capability of human kind make trust we can change it. I am glad to read you share the view with Black Sky Thinking "beyond the confines of our solar system". To be able to do so we may first realize we are the universe and the universe is in us: http://hateandanger.wordpress.com/2012/06/19/the-universe-is-in-us/ . In the moment we can change, we will be able to transform the universe. As this quote express: "Recognize that the very molecules that make up your body, the atoms that construct the molecules, are traceable to the crucibles that were once the centers of high mass stars that exploded their chemically rich guts into the galaxy, enriching pristine gas clouds with the chemistry of life. So that we are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically and to the rest of the universe atomically. That's kinda cool! That makes me smile and I actually feel quite large at the end of that. It's not that we are better than the universe, we are part of the universe. We are in the universe and the universe is in us." ― Neil deGrasse Tyson
I deeply appreciate your insight but I admire your capability to transform my poetic way to express into feasible scientific possibility, Black Sky Thinking lies in you. I remain thankful of your generous, intelligent and kind words.
A gift to keep inspiring your curious mind, if you could be so kind to transform this thought into scientific reality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaNGDrKKasA
Grateful with the power of energy contained in kind words.
